Privacy policy

This policy covers the Google user data Lookout receives when you link a Google account to its Gmail connector.

Data

Lookout receives the messages, threads, labels and drafts in your Gmail, and the email address of each account you link.

Use

Lookout uses this data only for what you ask the agent to do in a chat: search and read your mail, write drafts and replies, and label, archive or trash messages. Every change to your mailbox asks you first unless you allow it. The agent never sends mail and never deletes it permanently.

Storage

Lookout keeps Google user data on your devices. The tokens that link your Google account are encrypted on each device. Whatever Lookout syncs between your devices, those tokens included, crosses Arcadia's servers only as ciphertext Arcadia can't read. Arcadia's servers never see your mail.

Sharing

Lookout sends Google user data only to the model provider you chose for the chat that uses it, so the agent can do what you asked. If you let another app drive Lookout, in Settings › App access, that app reads what its chats return. Arcadia never sells Google user data and never uses it for advertising. No one at Arcadia reads it unless you agree, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

Training

Google user data never trains a generalized AI model. Providers that train on what they receive never get it: Gmail joins a chat only when the chat's model provider doesn't train on what it receives, or when you have confirmed that training is off for your account there.

Unlinking

Unlink, in Settings › Connectors › Gmail, revokes Lookout's access at Google and deletes the account's tokens from every device. Removing Lookout from your Google Account ends its access too. Mail the agent read stays in the chats that read it until you delete those chats.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
